our family loves these helmets. We purchased one of these helmets 3 years ago & my youngest son liked it so much that my older son wanted one too. the pads inside the helmet are covered with terryclloth which makes it really comfortable. because of soft sponge, we also take skiing. my kids love these helmets so I would buy another ablolutely.

wear motorcycle helmets XS, ordered an XS in this helmet and it fits perfectly. so perfectly though I can't wear goggles when using the helmet. you will need to figure that one out--as is necessary to see riding a bike. the rubbery matte surface looks and feels awesome, I get many compliments on it. as many compliments as you can get to wear a bike helmet and generally feeling like an idiot, that is.

I had this helmet because it doesn't try to make me look like some French bicycles Homer trying to get that extra one-hundredth of a percentage point less resistance, along with shaving my arms and wearing Spank-Me-Spandex. looks like I stuck a bowling ball on my head. I have been riding for over 50 years and I want something that will protect my skull if I fall and this is. I move in my bowling ball, drag one percent and all, thanks a lot. I'm almost too big for it, though, with a hat size 7-3/8 of an inch, so be careful. I think it's a teenager re-labeled helmet manufacturer as an adult helmet.

I really like this helmet. I already took some tough shots and going strong. ride the bmx and regularly hit 6 ' tall jump. Protec helmet has always been that I trust. I received several injuries from tricks gone wrong, but if I hadn't worn a helmet, it would have been much worse. the classic Protec skate helmet is sizing up. my head measures 23.2 "around, which is the minimum size xl range, but the helmet is still relatively loose. the helmet stays on my head, but I would have preferred a slightly tighter fit. I tried the larger version of this same helmet, and it was the close. so if you are somewhere between increases in size, the helmet does not fit perfectly. thats why I gave 4 stars instead of 5. Apart from that, the helmet is perfect. and green is really brilliant.

It was an incredible shopping. very well put together, and really shows the value. It is quite hot after wearing it for a long time and especially in wet weather. but ventilation still works perfectly for anti-fogging and once you have familiarized yourself with the sleeve, taking the helmet off a lot and becomes fluid. that said, its definitely big chunk of change to drop out of a single piece of equipment, no matter how amazing is. I would advise to wait until a helmet can be purchased for less than $ 300. I saw them for as little as $ 200, but that was a while ago, and I presume its been discontinued because they were not generated profits for such a low cost.

This is a nice helmet. However, I ordered a size larger that is described as L/XL and barely fits my head. I'll probably have to shave a few mm from the inner foam with a hot knife, because it's just a little too tight for comfort. This is strange, because I'm a little guy in General (at 5 ' 10:158 lbs) and it's not like I have some fat meaty head. I can't imagine that this would fit a bigger guy or someone with a lot of hair ... --like a lot of skaters.

well I ride BMX and never really found it necessary to wear a helmet, unless I was in a skatepark where they are needed. I am very happy that I found the old school style of protec helmet because it fits very much better the new school ones with polystyrene liner. this helmet fits my large head and makes me feel much more comfortable when I'm out riding. I also use this helmet when I ride my road bike as well. I have a helmet type road bike but don't fit right and is uncomfortable and awful looking. I feel that this was a good buy for myself and can be for many other. Oh, and the helmet took about a week to arrive at my door. not bad!

There are a lot of reviews about how many pucks they came with. I got what I expected with the bars and pucks over thumb palm disks. other than this issue I would people rather than actual product review service. These gloves are very well made. If you are learning to slide these are almost a MUST have. I ordered first the version with only the disks and I wore a hole quickly on fingertips kevlar put them as well. without a good amount of practice you will be putting slide fingertips down, then these are great coaches finger cursor. I've had mine for about 2 months. you've removed her finger and now pucks can get away with just the puck to Palma. the puck by palm has worn down quite a bit, but I had to learn to slide at slower speeds on rougher roads.

My son is old and 25months is the 25th percentile, 75 height weight percentile. overall, the set is too large for him, but is still very usable.. I like the fact that they have no cutesy character on them, or are coloured. right now I'm using elbow pads knee pads. However, I can get the knee to fit if I criss-cross back straps, even if they are a bit bulky. fit is even better when wearing pants.

I've always appreciated and used Bell's products. so I felt comfortable ordering this helmet without first trying it in a store. I'm on the upper end of average size, so when I tried it was tight, but after a couple of runs that filled out and fits well. used in my first downhill race and felt great. I would recommend it if you are starting to do more than freeride/downhill riding where a helmet of country X would not give adequate face protection.

This product went beyond my expectations. so happy that I purchased. saved me from severe brain damage twice this summer, I highly recommend buying this helmet if you are serious about taking your skateboarding to new levels, or if already tear, save your life, so comfortable I almost forget about. personally, I don't go to a park with vert without it. This is a SKATEBOARD helmet, that is what it is for. I repeat, skateboarding.

I am a ~ 5 ' 9, 160 lbs, 24 year old grad student with an attitude of average width for a snowboarder. I don't know much about longboards, skate/but I was a snowboard instructor for four seasons. I missed my mountain. well, this is the closest I've come to feel like I'm carving again. This is my first downhill and it feels very much like a snowboard, compared to other longboards. really smooth rides, excellent blocks, has brought home or stopped on any rocks, branches, manhole covers, sidewalk, or impacts of divets kerb to kerb I drove over. does not make my feet go numb after 5 minutes. This is not junk tab. my friend told me twice, "Dude barings are 7! Mine has only 5! How much did you say it was? " Fun

I just bought this helmet after saving a life friends. was driving in traffic, hit a pothole and lost control of his bike causing it to fall directly under the wheels of a dually pickup truck. the truck ran over her pelvis, chest and head, crushing numerous bones and rupture his bladder, but his face was only minor and Livid and the helmet is still intact. doubt in any of our minds that without this helmet had not attended a closed coffin.

There nice and slidey. do not drag a stop which is what I like about them. but since the edges are square drive careful on the roads really poor. as I was sliding the puck Board stuck out of a crack on the road and almost pulled my shoulder. No matter whether they are recreational skating or play roller derby like me, you should always keep your bearings clean and it's hard to find a good way to do it, much less a great way how this drive. I took on a lark to at least give it a try and I was very impressed with the cleanliness that it did, and just how easy it was. I thought at first, (huh is right a bottle with a stick on the cover), but it really works) I like to use acetone to clean my bearings (unfortunately since its water based, I still had to dry bearings quickly after I was done cleaning) put about 1/3rd in the bottle, my bearings loaded and started shaking and. After a couple of minutes .... I opened the bottle to find tons of grease and dirt floating in solution, and this was after I made my previous method of "Cup of coffee" and the turbine bearing in it. so in short .... This is a must for any skater who want to keep their bearings in great shape and for more uses! Especially if you need to clean them a lot as in roller derby: would recommend!

I received this article just two days after placing my order-a very fast delivery! The helmet has exceeded my expectations in every way. and it looks great, it's lightweight, fits like a glove and is very convenient! I was a little leery of the size as I read bern helmets tend to fit a little snug and to get a size larger than you would normally buy. However I chose the small as I have a head size 6 7/8 and this helmet fits perfectly. I always felt self-conscious and a little when checking out motorcycle helmets because, having a small head, they all seemed so huge! With the Bern Watts, which is not the case because it's thin, light, and adapts to the shape of the head of a very well. the inside is soft and very well designed in terms of fit and comfort. are hardly aware that I wear! So far I have hated going by bike with helmets more have to settle. you know, those things that look like a football wrapped around the top of your head! For the first time I can ride my bike fully protected with a good looking helmet that fits like it should and protects in a way that gives you confidence and peace of mind. I highly recommend the summer bike helmet Watts Bern with EPS liner over any other brand out there hands down!
